A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there – unknown
When Laura first contacted me about taking her family photos, I of course, like with any other family, was thrilled! I love meeting new people and capturing great memories for families. We went through the steps of booking, and I soon found out she was not only an amazing author of new book The Delusion ( http://www.lauragallier.com/delusion/ )but she has a beautiful family… of OLDER KIDS!! The first thing that came to my mind was, how was I supposed to get these teenagers to twirl, dance and shake their booty?? HAHA I mean, the younger kids LOVE this, but I was sure it wouldn’t fly with these guys. Let’s be honest, staying in your comfort zone is… well, it’s comfortable. But let me tell you, EVERY time I’ve been pushed out of mine, great things happen.
